SEATTLE (February 26, 2008) Seattle marketing firm Hydrogen has announced that its two founding creative partners, Tom Scherer and Rick Peterson, have recently reorganized to better serve the needs and vision of its clients and the firm going forward. As part of the reorganization, Rick Peterson will transition from day-to-day Creative Direction duties to become President, and Tom Scherer will remain as VP Executive Creative Director. Under the new reorganization, Hydrogen has reduced layers of management, allowing for a greater percentage of client resources to go directly to idea development and superb execution in the marketplace. “We strive to be the most important place our clients turn to again and again to accelerate their business. This is accomplished with big ideas that enhance ROI immediately, and shareholder value ultimately,” said Rick Peterson, President of Hydrogen. “Under our new restructuring, we are better able to deliver custom-assembled teams that provide the absolute best in discipline expertise and function and as a result become a seamless extension of each client’s marketing organization.”

As part of the restructuring, Hydrogen announces that Cindy Dunbar has joined the firm as Director of Account Management. She will help in delivering top-notch creative, strategic and account services across a wide spectrum of media – all aimed at accelerating the business of its clients. Cindy comes most recently from Sedgwick Rd., where she was VP, Brand Development Director, and prior to that, VP, Group Account Director on Washington Mutual.

Tracy Mirabelli, who co-founded Hydrogen along with Peterson, Scherer, and Bill Fritsch in 2001, remains as Chief Financial Officer. Bill Fritsch has left the firm to embark on a new venture.
